We Build People provides essential support that strengthens families and helps children grow in character.

What is the We Build People Campaign?

Our annual scholarship campaign is the major fundraising campaign of the YMCA. Funds raised help those who need it most by providing financial assistance to youth, teens, families and other individuals and ensures that no one is denied the opportunity to share in the YMCA experience due to the
inability to pay. The YMCA of Saratoga provides essential support that strengthens families and
helps children grow in character.

Your tax-deductible contribution to the YMCA Annual Scholarship Campaign is a great investment in your community because it helps those who need it most by providing financial assistance to youth, teens, families, and other individuals who otherwise could not afford membership and program fees.

$80 Instills life-saving confidence in a child through a session of swimming lessons.

Scholarship Program
Scholarships are available for people who require it, whether in direct aid or reduced
program fees. No one is turned away from the YMCA for lack of ability to pay.

YMCA Travel Camp Trip

$175 sponsors a child for one week of YMCA Day Care

$200 prepares children for kindergarten by offering tuition
assistance for one month at YMCA pre-school

$1500 provides a child with an entire summer at YMCA camp

Our Mission
The mission of the YMCA of Saratoga is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The YMCA welcomes men, women and children of all ages, income, abilities, races and religions. The YMCA of Saratoga is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.

$300 provides one month of care in the School's Out after school program

$400 enables Seniors to maintain strength and well being with a one year membership

$500 provides the program fee for ten youths in the YMCA/City Recreational Youth

The YMCA of Saratoga is a charitable, non-profit organization that relies on community support to
provide services to youth, families and individuals in need. All contributions are tax deductible to
the extent allowable by law. A copy of our latest annual report may be obtained, upon request from
